This apprenticeship trains individuals to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems. Apprentices gain hands-on experience working with systems that control temperature and humidity in a variety of environments, such as homes, businesses, and industrial settings. The course covers topics like system design, electrical principles, environmental regulations, and safety practices. Upon completion, apprentices are equipped with the skills to become qualified technicians in this specialised and in-demand field.
End Point Assessment is the final stage of an apprenticeship that evaluates whether an apprentice has gained the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in their apprenticeship standard. This apprenticeship is assessed in the following 3 ways:
Each element of the End-point Assessment will be graded and will carry equal weighting towards the aggregation of the overall apprenticeship grade.
This apprenticeship prepares individuals to install, service, and repair commercial catering equipment in kitchens across a variety of industries, such as restaurants, hotels, and hospitals. Apprentices learn how to work with gas & electrical systems, ensuring that equipment like ovens and dishwashers operate safely and efficiently. The training includes fault diagnosis, maintenance techniques, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. Upon completion, apprentices become qualified catering engineers, capable of supporting the food service industry with essential technical expertise.

Level 3 Emerging Leader
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are new to leadership roles or aspiring to lead teams. This program focuses on developing key management and leadership skills, such as planning, organisation, decision-making, and effective communication.
Apprentices learn how to manage people, projects, and resources efficiently while ensuring the team meets its goals. The course also covers areas like performance management, conflict resolution, and motivational techniques. Upon completion, apprentices are equipped to become confident and capable team leaders in the business.
