MCFT Sales

Our sales team is the driving force behind a company's revenue generation and growth, responsible for identifying customer needs, building relationships, promoting our world-class service.


MCFT Sales teams are split across multiple teams, including new and repeat business, new equipment and Manufacturers and Multiples.


They perform a variety of tasks such as producing quotations, ordering catering equipment and generating leads. From prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and nurturing long-term client relationships, the team thrives on collaboration, resilience, and strategic thinking.


Meet our teams

New Business

Our New Business team operates across various roles, including account managers, business development executives and managers. Our Account Managers, and renewals team nurture long-term client relationships focused on repeat business. 


Our Business Development Managers are focused on selling our services in specific geographic areas - they take a consultative approach with our customers, preferring to demonstrate a high value proposition and then absolutely make sure that every one of us across the business fully delivers against the pre-set requirements. Our Business Development Executives, who form the administrative backbone to the sales process.

New Equipment

At MCFT, everything we service we can also sell. We take a consultative approach to offer the best solution to the customer’s needs, travelling up and down the country to help our clients find the right kit for their needs. With the ability to offer a variety of manufacturers and products. We are independent and therefore unbiased in our recommendations.  We base this on quality of product, what is fit for purpose, technical suitability, and environmental impact.

"Since joining the company in 2024, Derek has been responsible for New Equipment Consultation, Support and Sales of all new equipment across the UK, ensuring that all customers have the correct up to date information when requesting replacement equipment at site. With over 20 years of experience in catering, Derek brings strong expertise in the catering background and his experience on the field allows him to offer consultation on all kitchen projects. In addition, Derek has extensive experience in management within the catering background and holds qualifications in this field. Outside of work, Derek attends the gym regularly and is a Glasgow Rangers football supporter."

Manufacturers & Multiples

OEM's or Manufacturers and Multiples at MCFT are responsible for supporting our manufacturer partners on warranty works as well as our chain accounts on their wider estates. 

“Since joining MCFT in 2022 on the Grad Scheme, I have spent time on our service desk, supporting in the M&M team, BDE in our sales department before returning to M&Ms as the manager. I am responsible for all areas within this department and making sure all of our customers get the best service possible.



I have recently undertaken on our emerging leaders programme, where I hope to develop my management skills even further. Always looking to improve wherever possible and better our support for our loyal customers..”
