What sort of career does this lead to?

Experienced and skilled technicians are in very high demand around the world, and readily earn £50,000/year, in many instances much more.

Those with the appetite for responsibility may become team leaders, supervisors, technical leaders in different regions or, as was the case with our 2013 refrigeration trainee, Alex Wilson, General Managers running their own territory.

What do I need to do to complete the course?

Throughout your time on programme you must demonstrate the right level of professional behaviours in the field and during training. You must demonstrate engagement in the programme by attending all training sessions; engaging in both classroom and practical activities; and transferring the learning to your activities in the field.

What does it cost?

Nothing.

This is an earn-as-you-learn programme – and not on derisory terms, MCFT is signed up to the Foundation Living Wage – with reasonable personal use of the company van included (small tax charge).

This absolutely provides a great alternative to mainstream further

education, with the added benefit of not holding the debt that often  comes associated with university.

It’s understandably an investment for us and we love watching people

develop their careers, but there will be an agreement to sign to ensure

that the investment costs are realised by MCFT
