Recruitment Advisor

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our multi award winning company.  Working as part of a small HR team based at our head office in Maidenhead, the role is fundamental to our ambitious growth plans. 

The Recruitment Advisor manages our end to end recruitment process to enable us to continue to expand at our predicted annual 30% growth.  In addition to substantial interviewing experience, a creative approach to attract scarce skills in the market is essential. Opportunities range from catering or refrigeration engineers, trainees and a variety of office roles, including grads and interns.


Key areas of responsibility are:

  • Manage recruitment process to ensure a smooth transition up to on-boarding
  • Ensuring hire requisitions are correctly raised and authorised, then converted into job adverts
  • Successfully advertising vacancies using various cost effective recruitment methods and selecting the most appropriate routes to market each role, attracting the right skills
  • Direct sourcing and headhunting to grow pipeline and talent pool of candidates
  • Conducting telephone interviews at initial stages to assess candidate suitability
  • Sourcing and managing relationships with universities and educational establishments to identify interns and graduates for future hires
  • Build relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Manage & report on the recruitment budget, follow & review processes
  • Producing recruitment data and interpreting it to identify trends to adapt future action plans
  • Supporting continuous improvement of the selection process including creating and designing new assessment tools, materials and interview packs
  • Supporting hiring managers with interview skills and experience, coaching and workshops


The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong interviewing skills, both over the phone and face to face
  • End to end recruitment lifecycle experience within an in-house recruitment team, ideally including direct sourcing
  • Strong planning and organising skills - ability to handle a varied and flexible workload whilst meeting deadlines
  • Tenacity – be prepared to drive solutions forward by being proactive and engaged
  • Commercial awareness and be business focused
  • A high standard of written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues as well as candidates
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, using innovative and creative methods
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
